Tarot Workshop

Magic lies within the seventy eight tarot cards that make up a deck, the magic to unlock your own secrets.  A good reader doesn’t tell you things you don’t know, he or she shows you the answers you’ve had within you all along.  If you have always been fascinated with the art of reading cards but aren’t quite sure where to begin, this workshop is for you.  If you have a deck or two but feel you could use some direction and focus in your practice, this workshop is for you.  If you would like to deepen your understanding of this tool for introspection, this workshop is for you. 

Any study of tarot will spend some time looking at the meanings of each of the cards, but in order to be an effective reader, you must go beyond just memorizing the right definition of the cards and learn to work the energy that is exchanged when you read for yourself or others.  

I will address grounding, focusing on the questions, setting intention, card layouts and more.  There will be daily card draws and members of the group will be welcome to share their daily draws as well.  Members will be encouraged to practice reading for one another if they like, and to post their own readings for input and discussion.  Participation is on your own time and at your own discretion.  Lurking is allowed.  

Class will run for one month. The start of class has been postponed so there is still time to join us!  Cost is $25 and will include at least one personal one card reading for each member.  Please contact me with questions or to rsvp for the workshop.  

Tarot And Astrology Special

One hour reading $50
Ideal for an in depth look at one astrology chart, multiple charts, extensive Tarot reading, or a combination of Tarot and astrology.  Also useful for lessons on reading your own chart or those of others or the basics of reading Tarot.

Thirty minute reading $25
Take a look at one astrology chart/current transits or one full Tarot spread.

Fifteen minute reading $15
Sample sized brief look at cards or stars.

Readings can be performed via phone, video chat or email.  I am equally skilled in all mediums of communication so you decide which is most comfortable for you. I am available for tarot or astrology readings and I am currently running a special.  My rates through next week are $50/hour, $25/half hour and $15/fifteen minutes.  

Readings can be done via email, telephone or Skype.  You may choose tarot, astrology or a combination with the longer readings.  With phone readings, I will track the time and let you know when we are near the end. You may opt to save some time to come back later with questions or if we go over, you are welcome to purchase additional time.  With email readings, I will always leave some time for follow up questions.

Gemini Moon

The moon is in Aquarius today and I am pondering attachment vs detachment.  I am also pondering another moon sign and it’s impact in the birth chart.  

The Lovers tarot card is associated with the sign Gemini.  All of the mutable signs have a distinct duality and with Gemini the split is masculine/feminine.  The challenge for each of the mutable signs is to marry the opposing forces within and find graceful ways for them to work together.
